A prerequisite Study Guide will be sent to registrants, who should review the material and work through the problems in preparation for the event. Participants must bring their own laptop computer to the training with course software installed and operating. Course materials and software will be mailed to registrants two weeks prior to the event, or may be downloaded from the DOE Industrial Technologies Program Website. Title: DOE Process Heat Assessment and Survey Tool (PHAST) Qualification Fee: $300 Date: April 6-8, 2011 Location: Georgia Tech Research Institute Conference Center, 250 14th Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 Description: PHAST helps you improve the thermal efficiency of your plant by providing methods and tools to survey process heating equipment that uses fuel, steam, or electricity, and identifying the most energy-intensive equipment. Industry professionals can earn recognition as a Qualified Specialist in the use of the PHAST software tool.
